Danish Champion ‘Soren Kongsgaard‘ has faced every online poker player nightmare. Loosing your internet connection while playing heads-up in the $1 million guaranteed on Full Tilt.
Kongsgaard was playing the $500 buy-in tournament from Barcelona, where he lives most of the year. After loosing connection he tried everything to get connection again, but he could not help getting blinded away by the lucky winner BluffMagCV.
Kongsgaar tells: “I wasn’t able to get my connection back, and since I only had around 50 times the big blind and the antes were high, it didn’t take long before I had lost my chips.”
Eventhough it was a real nightmare he really stayed quite down-to-earth about what happened to him: “That’s just the way it is, there is nothing you can do about it.”.
