Jonathan Little
Full Tilt noticed that Mr. Little was online almost 24/7 the last few months, and decided to take a further look into this case. They found out the account was used from multiple IP addresses. Jonathan Little was fired by Full Tilt Poker.

Since the pros playing at Full Tilt get paid per hour, it is very profitable to be online as much as possible. But also the pros need to read and follow the Terms and Conditions! Account sharing is just not allowed! Due to this violation by Jonathan Little Full Tilt Poker saw no other options then disabling Jonathan’s account and ‘fire’ him.

I think this is really well done by Full Tilt, showing no regret, neither to their own affiliated professionals. What do you think?

Full Tilt target of DDoS Attack

Full Tilt DDoS
As most online poker players probably noticed the last days, many poker sites had connection problems (either very slow or no connection at all). Rumors are going around that they suffered from a DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) Attack.

This attack is used by computer hackers to bring websites down and are placed by computers all around the world, sending billions of so called ping packages to one server. If this server does not have a good protection against these attacks, it can cause downtime. As happened to Full Tilt Poker, Party Casino, Titan Poker, Virgin Games, CD Poker and Europa Casino. Also some big Russian Poker sites were attacked like PokerListing.

This finnaly shows the reason of the embarrassing outage of Full Tilt Poker during the FTOPS Main Event, when almost every player lost his connection.

These connection losses are not very good for Full Tilt’s reputation, since a lot of players are wondering if their losses will be refunded. What do you expect from Full Tilt?

Table Billions
Can you imagine loosing billions on online poker and casino games?

The US Government can! A study of accountantsfirm Price Waterhouse Coopers, in name of the UC-Group, gives an insight of the income losses for the US Government for the upcomming 10 years! If they regulate online poker and casino , they will earn a little of 16 billion (16,000,000,000!!!!).

In this calculation sportsbetting is not even included, it’s all about casino games and poker!

Individual taxes would generate 56% of the total amount. The amount could rise up to 42 billion if other sport betting was included and all states where gambling is prohibited..

Am i the only one wondering how long Online Poker will be forbidden in the USA?

Soren KongsgaardDanish Champion ‘Soren Kongsgaard‘ has faced every online poker player nightmare. Loosing your internet connection while playing heads-up in the $1 million guaranteed on Full Tilt.

Kongsgaard was playing the $500 buy-in tournament from Barcelona, where he lives most of the year. After loosing connection he tried everything to get connection again, but he could not help getting blinded away by the lucky winner BluffMagCV.

Kongsgaar tells: “I wasn’t able to get my connection back, and since I only had around 50 times the big blind and the antes were high, it didn’t take long before I had lost my chips.”

Eventhough it was a real nightmare he really stayed quite down-to-earth about what happened to him: “That’s just the way it is, there is nothing you can do about it.”.

The $1 million guaranteed final results were as following:

1. BluffMagCV — $197,984
2. Kongsgaard — $121,588
3. tmfd001 — $79,624
4. RGAR18 — $63,484
5. colenel decker — $48,420
6. DutchVinny — $34,647.20
7. JaeMills — $25,286
8. imgrinding — $19,906
9. Gettin Daize — $15,064

At the end, BluffMagCV earned $200k and Songsgaard just less then $125k. Even with this dissapointment Songsgaard should be satisfied about this year, he is on a real winning flow. One of the youngsters getting to the top in Europe.

He won the Scandinavian Open in Copenhagen, placed 3rd in the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo and won the Danish Champion in september. All the best of luck to Soren Kongsgaard, with your career and with finding a better internet provider in Barcelona.

Soon we will start to write about our own tournaments and results. Do you want to follow our adventures? Register to our In2Poker RSS Feed RSS Feed.
