The most well known tournament is ofcourse the Irish Open, which attracks many proffesional players to Dublin. Also the first event of the WSOP Europe will be played in Dublin. There seemed to be no other city that deserved this price this year!

Full Tilt noticed that Mr. Little was online almost 24/7 the last few months, and decided to take a further look into this case. They found out the account was used from multiple IP addresses. Jonathan Little was fired by Full Tilt Poker.

Since the pros playing at Full Tilt get paid per hour, it is very profitable to be online as much as possible. But also the pros need to read and follow the Terms and Conditions! Account sharing is just not allowed! Due to this violation by Jonathan Little Full Tilt Poker saw no other options then disabling Jonathan’s account and ‘fire’ him.

I think this is really well done by Full Tilt, showing no regret, neither to their own affiliated professionals. What do you think?

After finishing in the second place the last 2 years, he finally succeeded to win this great tournament.

The complete final results:

Chris Ferguson

1 Chris Ferguson $500,000
2 Andy Bloch $250,000
3 Huck Seed $125,000
. Phil Ivey $125,000
5 Gus Hansen $75,000
. Jonathan Little $75,000
. Orel Hershiser $75,000
. David Benyamine $75,000
9 Mike Matusow $25,000
. Phil Laak $25,000
. Scott Fischman $25,000
. Freddy Deeb $25,000
. Michael Mizrachi $25,000

In the best of three final Chris Ferguson was able to defeat Andy Bloch. After Andy winning the first match, Chris was able to win the second and third match with showing the best of his HU game. The second match won by Chris by calling going all-in with QcQd against a short Andy Bloch showing Kc3d.

Eventually the third match was not as exiting as the first two, finally finished by a coinflip (yes a real coinflip) made by Andy. Calling with a pair of Tens, with Ferguson showing JJ. With no help on the turn and river, it was Chris Ferguson winning the NBC National Heads-Up Championship of 2008.
